Sebastien Sanz de Santamaria
Sebastien Sanz de Santamaria aka “Seb,” was an active Fluxer from 2001-2006. He designed the Flux Factory logo, built the Flux website, and played a key role in establishing Flux’s current artist residency program. He was also the Assistant Director of the International Residency Program at Location One; in 2009 he co-founded Residency Unlimited, an NYC based decentralized visual artist residency. He is also a co-founder of Rivet, an online platform helping artists of all mediums find opportunities to advance their practices. Recent projects include NYC Artist Safe Haven, supporting international artists risking political, gender, or religious persecution, and Luv ’til it Hurts, an artist-led project on HIV & stigma. Sebastien received a BFA in 2000 from the Ecole de Beaux-Arts de Montpellier District, France.
