Residency Solo Shows are a key component of Flux Factory’s Artist-in-Residency. Artists have creative carte blanche during their share of days in the Flux gallery. Based on the length of the Residencies, Residency solo shows last between 1-2 weeks in the gallery and artists receive stipends between $400-$700. In total, approximately 20 Residency Solo Shows take place annually. For many of our emerging artists, this is a first opportunity to exhibit in New York City. For others, it is an opportunity to try something completely new in an environment that values risk-taking. For the public, it is a free opportunity to interact with emerging artists experimenting with cutting edge ideas.
