Flux Thursday: September 13, 2012
September 13th, 8pm+
Join us for Flux Thursday, our monthly potluck dinner and art salon! Dinner starts at 8 in the kitchen, and then around 9:30 we’ll head to the gallery for artist presentations.
Flux’s Residency Unlimited artist Sonya Schönberger will discuss her ongoing research project of interviewing World War II survivors living in New York City. Then, it’s an all Public Trust-related line-up: Valentina Curandi & Nathaniel Katz will present the Pacifist Library, to be followed by non-violent charades. Jo Q. Nelson will talk about Was, Is, Will Be, an installation at Dekalb Market in Brooklyn. Lastly, Heidi Neilson of SP Weather Station will present work on the topic of space exploration. This Flux Thursday was organized by our very own Georgia Muenster.
Bring drinks or something delicious to share!
