Lebanon |Arabic with English subtitles | 2017
SALAM is a docu-fiction that retraces the ordinary afternoon of a Syrian woman. In the intimacy of her home, Salam reveals the difficult journey of discovering her sexuality in a conservative society. The film is based on an interview with a real Syrian woman.
The film premiered in April 2017 at Fribourg International Film Festival, an International Film Festival in Switzerland, where it received the award of Best International Short Documentary.

Eccomi … Eccoti unfolds as a virtual road trip navigating between Italy and Lebanon. On one side, the lure of Europe, a presumed safe haven for homosexuals, and on the other, a longing for one’s roots.
The film premiered in March 2017 at Beirut Cinema Days and was screened in October 2017 at the San Francisco Arab Film Festival and the Rotterdam Arab Film Festival. It was later screened in several cities including Berlin, Hamburg, and Calgary.
