Artist Statement
Living in N.Y the past year and having the privilege to intern at Flux Factory has forced me to examine my own cultural identity. I use imagery from from my surroundings, life experience and media sources. The title is a reference to the collective conscience. In this case the theme of nationalism has informed the visual possibilities.
