Colin Brant

Filmmaker Colin Brant’s work deals primarily with solitary adventure and personal perspectives on collective happenings. Usually realized on 16mm film and processed by hand, these moments are condensed and sometimes collided into one another, visually affected, or temporally alienated, then combined in sequence on the filmstrip. He is interested in following natural impulses toward experimentation in non-language and non-narrative modes of show and tell, allowing subtle context and tactile experiences to emerge.
