Saturday, November 22nd, 2003, 3pm-10pm, free All You Can Art is
not interested in works simply made out of food—a cream cheese painting,
if you will— but rather works of art that are themselves taste experiences.
This show will be a day-long event of installations and performances that
revolve around the concept of taste, eating, and food. |
Frederic Pradeau: Mr. Pradeau has been distilling various colas for some time now. For this exhibit, Frederic directed Flux Factory to procure 80 liters of Coca Cola and let them ferment in brewer’s yeast. The ‘yeasted’ cola is then put through a heated distillation process. The result is a high-proof alcohol that is barely ingestible. Please be very careful in taking a sip. Probably it is best just to let it touch the tongue rather than trying to take a full sip. Enjoy.
