Danny Crump
Danny Crump is a visual artist working in sculpture, video and ceramics. His practice explores how everyday objects and images construct collective identities that form the structure of culture. Looking toward objects so visually present on the surface of society that they almost reach the point of disappearing, he reassigns their value and visibility through material transformation and unexpected overlapping signifiers. He holds an MFA from Ohio University and has completed residencies in China, New Zealand, Hungary and the US. He has shown his work at the Missoula Art Museum, MT, and Contemporary Art Studios in Kesckemet Hungary, among others, in over 50 exhibitions nationally.
